Oxyfresh is a 35% actives solution of hydrogen peroxide. It is a component of the Chemex Professional Laundry range. Oxyfresh is always used via an automatic dosing system alongside the other components. It should be dosed directly into the laundry wash water at the same time as the detergent. It works by releasing oxygen which gets rid of stains while allowing coloured items in the wash to retain their colour. Oxyfresh works best at wash temperatures above 55OC when the oxygen is more readily given up. Oxyfresh can be used as a soak. If the soak water is at room temperature an overnight soak will help remove the stains.
